Women in Business Intellectual Property (IP) Forum event

Enterprise Ireland, Eastpoint Dublin, April 27th

The aim of this event is to raise awareness of the role IP plays in raising finance and scaling enterprises, with a particular focus on women led businesses. 

 

The event will also cover the Unitary Patent reform and the requirement for Ireland to host a referendum on the Unified Patent Court, which is necessary to enable to Irish businesses derive the same benefits for the new system as currently enjoyed by their counterparts in the majority of other EU states.

 

The event will be opened by Minister Neal Richmond and coincides with the WIPO World IP Day (#WorldIPDay) 2023, under the theme: “Women and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity”.  World IP day, and the Women in Business IP Forum event, are a celebration of the innovative, creative and enterprising women that contribute to our economic and societal development. 

Senior managers/founders of innovation-led enterprises, investors, innovators, Startup/SME supporters and IP mangers/practitioners are invited to attend, as well as representatives, female and male, from startups and SMEs with scalable potential.
